Position Overview

• Employment Type: Strictly part-time and performance-linked (independent contractor)
• Time Commitment: Highly flexible – planned around your availability and the specific needs of the entrepreneurs you coach
• Remuneration: Performance-linked based on achievement of predefined KPIs
• Core Focus: Practical, hands-on business coaching in key areas such as marketing and branding, revenue strategies, business planning, financial management, customer acquisition and operational excellence within the agribusiness context
• Geographic Scope: Open to applicants from all 47 counties in Kenya

• Deliver specialized coaching and mentorship to emerging agribusiness entrepreneurs, focusing on real-world business skills including marketing, branding, sales strategies, revenue generation and sustainable business growth.
• Conduct group training sessions and one-on-one mentoring to help entrepreneurs build strong, profitable businesses.
• Monitor and report on entrepreneur progress through the digital Program Management System, contributing directly to programme KPIs.
• Share practical insights drawn from your own experience in running or managing a business to inspire and guide the next generation of agribusiness leaders.

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Agribusiness, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of demonstrated real-world business experience, preferably including running or managing your own business or holding a senior business development role.
• Proven track record in marketing, branding, revenue generation or business strategy.
• Strong facilitation and mentoring skills, with the ability to simplify complex business concepts for practical application.
• Currently active or recently active in business operations, allowing you to bring fresh, relevant experience to the entrepreneurs you coach.
• Digitally literate and able to use basic digital tools for coaching and reporting.
